The Quiet Protocol

Start with the nervous system. The food gets quieter on its own.

A fourteen-week program that does the counterintuitive thing โ€” it settles your body first, before it ever asks you to change what you eat. Because the reaching was never really about the food. It was a nervous system looking for safety.

We don't quiet the Noise by fighting it. We build the Hum, until the Noise has less to say.

Why "Quiet"

Most programs start with the food. This one starts with you.

Every plan you've tried probably began the same way โ€” with rules about what to eat, and willpower to enforce them. The Quiet Protocol begins somewhere else entirely: with your nervous system. We build regulation first โ€” a felt sense of safety โ€” because a settled body doesn't reach the way an alarmed one does.

Much of the reaching is a body trying not to be alone with something too big โ€” what Sarah Peyton calls alarmed aloneness. So we tend to that first. When the body quiets, the food quiets on its own โ€” not by force, but because the Noise has less to do. Drift is still information. The Compassionate Return is always there. And you never walk it alone.

What You'll Practice

The shape of the fourteen weeks.

The Daily Practice

The Touchstone

A few quiet check-ins a day โ€” with your Body, your Heart, your Tigers, and your Signal. It teaches your system to feel itself and settle. This is the heartbeat of the whole thing.

Week One

Your Landscape

Before we change a thing, we map where you actually are โ€” gently, honestly, and without a single number. You can't find the path until you can see the ground.

Two Phases, One Path

Phase One & Phase Two

The first phase builds the ground. The second deepens it. Same curriculum both times โ€” you adjust the intensity to meet your life, never the path itself.

The Arrival

Your Plan

By the end, you're holding a plan you didn't download from anyone โ€” the one you've quietly been writing all along, in your own words, for your own life.

Who It's For

If you're done white-knuckling.

This is for people who've already tried the willpower way and know it doesn't hold. Who feel everything deeply. Who want something gentler and deeper than another diet. It isn't a place for acute crisis โ€” if that's where you are, there's kinder, more immediate help below โ€” but if you're ready to do this from the inside out, you're in the right room.

A Gentler Way In

The Quiet Food Walk

If fourteen weeks feels like a lot โ€” or you'd simply rather move at your own pace โ€” start here. The Food Walk is the self-paced version of this work: a food-relationship course you can wander through slowly, in any order, with everything open to you from day one. No drip. No schedule. No pressure.

  • Six Arrivals โ€” gentle ways to settle in before you begin.
  • Seven Stretches โ€” the core movements of the work, one relationship with food at a time.
  • The Everyday Tools shelf โ€” the Detective Journal, the Pause, the Resonance Line, always within reach.
  • The Diving Form โ€” and at the end of it, Your Plan: your own next steps, in your own words.

It's the same spine as the Protocol โ€” the same Touchstone, the same Landscape, the same Plan โ€” just walked on your own two feet, at your own speed.

Same Destination, Two Paces

Two ways to walk it.

Self-Paced

The Quiet Food Walk

Everything open from day one. Move slowly, in any order, whenever life allows. The gentlest door into the work โ€” yours to keep and return to.
