THE ADVANCED RECOVERY PROJECT

Turning down the noise of food dysfunction.

Slowly. Together. At the pace healing actually happens.

This isn't another program telling you what to eat. It's a small, accompanied container where you go deeper than any book can take you alone — guided by the author, supported by daily community, and built for the kind of healing that doesn't happen in a weekend.

If you're here, you've already done a lot of work.

You've read the books. You've tried the plans. You've lost the weight, found it again, lost it again. You understand more about the nervous system, attachment, blood sugar, dopamine, and habit loops than most professionals.

And still — the noise doesn't stop. The pull to food shows up before you've even decided to think about food. The shame loop is faster than your prefrontal cortex. Knowing isn't translating into living.

That's not a willpower problem. That's not a knowledge problem. That's a pacing problem.

Your brain built its current pathways over decades. Building new ones requires focus, friction, reflection, and meaningful repetition over time — with company. Not because you're slow. Because that's how nervous systems actually change.

The ARP gives you the structure and the people to actually do that.

What's Included?

Twice a month, we go deeper than the book.

On the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month — 8:00 AM PT / 11:00 AM ET — we meet for live Deep Dives. Not lectures. Not slide decks. We work through Thinking Outside the Box one chapter at a time, and then we go past it.

The book gives you the framework. The Deep Dives give you what no book can:

  • The questions you didn't know to ask — surfaced by other people in the room living the same chapter you are.
  • The places the book had to stay general — opened up for your specific nervous system, your specific story, your specific pattern family.
  • Real-time reframing, in your own words, while it's still warm.
  • The companion guide for each chapter, replacing slides — so you can stay in your body instead of taking notes.
  • Recordings and notes posted after every session, so missing one doesn't mean falling behind.
  •  This is the work that doesn't fit in a chapter.

The book had to be a book. It had to land for the reader who picks it up cold. The Deep Dives are where we widen the field — slow down, circle back, follow the thread that opened up for you specifically — and let the chapter actually integrate before we move on.

You don't go home alone after a Deep Dive.

One of the things I learned the hard way in my own nine years of recovery: insight without accompaniment evaporates. You leave a powerful session, drive home, get triggered by Tuesday afternoon, and by Thursday you're convinced none of it was real.

That's why ARP includes everything in the Magic Membership — the daily infrastructure that holds you between Saturdays:

  • Three connection calls a day, Monday through Friday: 7:30 AM, 10:30 AM, and 7:00 PM Eastern. Drop in for the whole hour or for ten minutes. There's almost always someone there.
  • Book clubs, journaling circles, and deep-dive healing sessions throughout the week.
  • A private community on the Transform My Path app and in our Facebook group — the steady, lived-in kind, not a content firehose.
  • Recordings and notes from every call, so you can revisit what landed.

This is the difference between a program and a place. A program ends. A place is where the slow work actually happens.

The book is the path. The ARP is walking it together.

Thinking Outside the Box: A Revolutionary Approach to Food Dysfunction is the foundation we work from — chapter by chapter, in order, at the pace your nervous system can actually integrate.

Each chapter is its own piece of terrain. We read it. We sit with it. We let the people in the room translate it into their lives, in real time, in front of each other. And then — only then — we move on.

The book is required and purchased separately. Available on Amazon (Kindle, print, audio) and through the website. Use code REFRAME for the discount on the digital interactive edition.

You were never broken. You were biological.

Every misstep, every restart, every plan you climbed out of — none of it was wasted. The patterns that brought you here aren't evidence that something is wrong with you. They're evidence of an intelligent system that was doing its best with what it had.

Your nervous system has been working — sometimes in ways that no longer serve you, but always working. The hyper-vigilance that kept you safe as a child. The reaching for food that gave you regulation when nothing else would. The cycles of restriction and release that your biology engineered to keep you fed when your environment said otherwise.

In the ARP, we don't erase any of that. We turn toward it. We let your history be the curriculum. And slowly — chapter by chapter, Saturday by Saturday — the noise turns down.

Not because you forced it. Because you were finally met.

What Members are Saying

“I love hearing I’m not broken.”

— ARP Deep Dive Participant

“Working 1:1 with Sonja has been transformative. Her deep understanding of how attachment styles, unconscious contracts, and trauma shaped who I am has helped me celebrate the solutions my younger self used to navigate. I am stronger, kinder, wiser, and more knowledgeable for having gone through the challenges of my youth.”

— M.E.

“I actually feel hopeful, soothed, and accompanied.”
